This vessel is unique in the liftboat world in that not only is it one of the largest pipe legged, self propelled liftboat to be built,
but it will utilize AC electric propulsion motors and electric over hydraulic cranes as opposed to the standard diesel powered propulsion
and crane engines.
As energy production efforts move further off shore, the Oil and Gas industry and Off-shore Wind Energy industry
can count on Semco LLC liftboats to support operational demands.

With a workable deck space of 11,000 square feet and 280 foot legs, the Pico IV is currently the 3rd largest class of pipe-legged,
self propelled liftboats available. Pico 4 was built for
Pico Energy, which is the largest Egyptian company operating in
the Egyptian up-stream Oil and Gas industry. Follow the links below for more photographs of the Pico 4.
Our most recent project is the construction of a record breaking, 320' class liftboat. With leg lengths of 320 feet, this massive
self propelled liftboat will be capable of operating in up to 250 feet of water, accommodate 100 personnel, and provides total
variable load of 2,500,000 pounds over its 13,500 square feet of workable deck space.

The Titan II, a Semco built 280 class liftboat, was utilized in the development of a
wind turbine farm in the North Atlantic Sea which is
assisting in the global exploration of renewable energy resources. The abundance of workable deck space, leg length and
the dual 250 ton cranes that a Semco 280 class liftboat provides were key assets in the development of the turbine farm.
